Add joy to your workspace, with this free standing desk calendar. This is a 5x7 desk calendar containing 15 months (October 2021 - December 2022) and one cover card. Comes with wood block stand. Note: Prototype shown - final product will provide better quality printing, and size consistency between cards.

The Art Story

Some days in the studio start with play - I had a liquid black water color that just begged to be played with. I painted so many shapes, enjoying the rich blending and running of the color. It reflects life which is never black and white, but filled with nuance in the grey areas. These watery textures are then contrasted and accented with gold or silver in this series, drawing out the beauty of the variance between black and white.

The Art Details

This piece is part of the Black and Metallic series, it is a watercolor artwork on 100% cotton archival watercolor paper, signed by Krissie. The paper is mounted to a wood panel, sprayed with UV protectant and sealed with cold wax. It is then framed in a natural maple frame. The original artwork measures 9"x12" - finished size is roughly 10"x13" - back is open. This artwork can be positioned vertical or horizontal.
